Berlin-based DJ & Producer MANTEK.BERLIN built his sound between underground culture, long nights behind the decks and relentless studio work. Rooted in House, Tech House and Minimal, his sets merge emotional tension with club functionality.

Mantek’s passion for music has been with him since childhood, but his enthusiasm for electronic came at the age of 15 when he acquired his first pair of belt-drive Turntables.

From this time Mantek started djing with his friend Melle and they created their own underground events.

After a short time these events started to pay off. Their unique and captivating sound make noise and reached event organizers. This resulted in playing his first gigs in bigger halls, festivals and well-known clubs of the scene. Tarmac, 404 Club, Letzte Wiese, M-BIA, Maria & more.

Then a few years later he started to produce his own music and playing it on gigs became the addiction which could never be shaken off.

He also worked with artist of other genres in his studio with their production, which partly influenced his unique sound.

As a DJ, too, Mantek always plots exciting musical journeys that make people feel real emotions as they dance the night away.
